1. Information We Collect

LittleWise is designed to work primarily on your device. Most information you enter stays there.

Information stored locally on your device only:

• Baby's name or nickname
• Baby's date of birth and current weight
• Baby's gender (used only for WHO growth percentile calculations)
• Family values and preferences from your onboarding profile
• Your journey status (Baby's Here, Expecting, or Exploring)

Information collected if you create an account:

• Email address (used for authentication only)
• Password (stored securely and encrypted — we never see it)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide exclusively to operate the app for your benefit:

• To calculate age-appropriate diaper sizes, clothing sizes, and feeding stages
• To display your baby's growth percentile using WHO Child Growth Standards
• To filter product recommendations according to your family values profile
• To authenticate your account if you choose to create one

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose beyond directly serving your experience in the app.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect religion, denomination, or faith identity
• We do not collect race, ethnicity, or national origin
• We do not build behavioral profiles or track usage patterns for advertising
• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect device identifiers for tracking purposes

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes. Period.

The only third-party service we currently use is:

• Supabase — for account authentication if you choose to create an account. Supabase processes your email address to manage your login. Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

When you tap a product recommendation and are directed to Amazon or another retailer, you leave LittleWise and are subject to that retailer's privacy policy. We do not share your baby's data with any retailer.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

LittleWise is designed for parents and caregivers — not for use by children. The app is intended for adults 18 and older.

We collect information about babies (growth data) at the direction of their parent or guardian. This data is stored locally on the parent's device and is not transmitted to our servers.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us immediately at the address below.

6. Data Security

Your baby's growth data lives on your device and is protected by your device's own security. If you create an account, your credentials are handled by Supabase using industry-standard encryption.

We strongly recommend keeping your device secured with a passcode or biometric lock.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Since most data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data in your device settings.

If you have created an account and wish to have your account data deleted, contact us at the email below and we will process your request promptly.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the app

As LittleWise grows, this policy may be updated to reflect new features or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
